About Marco Müller
Born in 1970 in Babelsberg, Marco Müller is one of Germany’s most creative and innovative chefs. He stays true to his principles but also increasingly wants to raise awareness about sustainability, authenticity and craft.
In March 2020, Marco Müller and his team were awarded three Michelin stars for his restaurant Rutz in Berlin. Rutz was the first restaurant ever to win this accolade in the German capital.
The magazine “chefs!” called Marco Müller the “pioneer of German regionality,” who does not consider “regional thinking, acting and cooking” as a restriction but rather as a challenge and opportunity.
