Kai Pannen

Kai Pannen was born in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. He studied painting and film in Cologne and has worked as an illustrator and animated filmmaker since completing his studies. He has illustrated numerous books for various publishing houses and also worked as an author. At the Animation School Hamburg, he was a lecturer for animation and storyboard. In addition, he is a producer of animated short films for children. Kai Pannen was honored as “Reading Artist of the Year 2017” and lives with his family in Hamburg.
