Johann Lafer can look back at a unique culinary career spanning more than 40 years. After training with the best chefs, among them Eckart Witzigmann and Jörg and Dieter Müller, Austrian-born Lafer and his wife Silvia purchased Stromberg Castle, on the Rhine near Bingen. In numerous successful TV series, books, magazines and in his castle restaurant, the beloved Michelin-starred chef Johann Lafer has proven for years that he is a master of his craft. The star cook is married to Silvia Buchholz and has two children.
