Harald Welzer
Born in 1958, Harald Welzer is the director of the foundation Futurzwei – Stiftung Zukunftsfähigkeit and an honorary professor of transformation design at the University of Flensburg. He also teaches at the University of St. Gallen. His published works include “Autonomie. Eine Verteidigung” [“Autonomy: A Defense”] (co-written with Michael Pauen, 2015), “Die smarte Diktatur. Ein Angriff auf unsere Freiheit” [“The Smark Dictatorship: An Attack on Our Freedom”] (2016), “Everything Could Be Different: Social Utopia for Free People” (2019) and most recently “Zeitenwende. Der Angriff auf Demokratie und Menschenwürde” [“Dawn of a New Age: The Attack on Democracy and Human Rights”] (co-written with Michel Friedman, 2020). His books have been published in 21 countries.
