Frank Schätzing

Frank Schätzing was born in Cologne in 1957. In 1995, he published the historical novel “Death and the Devil”, which was initially a regional hit and eventually became a best seller across Germany. Following two more novels and a collection of short stories, in spring 2004 he released the thriller “The Swarm”, which has sold a total of 4.5 million copies and been translated into 27 languages. This was followed by the international best sellers “Limit” (2009) and “Breaking News” (2014). In spring 2018, Frank Schätzing’s new thriller, “The Tyranny of the Butterfly”, was published. In autumn 2019, his debut album as a musician was released: TAXI GALAXI. 2021 his new book "Was, wenn wir einfach die Welt retten?" was published.
