About Frank Goosen

Born in 1966 in Bochum, Frank Goosen became known as one half of the satirist duo Tresenlesen. His big break came with the novel “Learning to Lie”, which was a longstanding best seller and was adapted for the big screen. In 2003, Frank Goosen won the Ruhr Literature Prize. He regularly tours Germany with his cabaret show. His collection of tales from the Ruhr region, “Radio Heimat” [“Radio Homeland”], propelled him into the top-ten best-seller list. He also works as a presenter.
