Cynthia Micas

Cynthia Micas studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts and simultaneously performed at HAU, Deutsches Theater and Maxim Gorki Theater. She had a four-year engagement at the Maxim Gorki Theater as of 2013. In 2014, she was chosen Actress of the Year in a survey of critics conducted by magazine “Theater heute” and she was nominated several times as Young Actress of the Year. In 2017/18, she moved to the Residenztheater/Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel in Munich. Since the 2019/20 season, she has been a member of the Berliner Ensemble. On stage, she has collaborated with directors such as Sebastian Nübling, Antú Romero Nunes, Barrie Kosky, Sebastian Baumgarten, Laura Linnenbaum, Robert Borgmann and Yael Ronen.
