Cristina Morales

Born in 1985 in Granada, Spain, Cristina Morales studied law and political science. She is a member of the contemporary dance company Iniciativa Sexual Femenina. Morales has written multiple award-winning novels and short stories, and is one of the most important literary voices of Spain’s younger generation. Her novel, “Easy Reading”, won the Premio Herralde de Novela prize. In 2019 Morales became the youngest author to win the Spanish Ministry of Culture’s National Literature Prize for Narrative. She lives in Barcelona.
